The BT-87-TP-IS is a Bluetooth®-compatible keyboard built to be intrinsically safe for use in hazardous locations. It is Factory Mutual (FM) approved for Class I, II, and III, Division I, Groups C, D, E, F and G. It costs up to 35% less than wired intrinsically safe keyboards and does not require cables or barriers. This fully-sealed keyboard is designed to meet NEMA 4X specifications, meaning it is resistant to dirt, dust, water, ice and corrosives. It has a 30-foot RF range and works with systems in enclosures. The compact design, integrated touchpad and internal Bluetooth® module make the BT-87-TP-IS highly portable. It requires 2 AA batteries and does not require a USB dongle if the host computer has an internal Bluetooth® radio. If the host computer does not have an internal Bluetooth® radio, a separate USB dongle can be purchased for the keyboard to function.

The BT-87-TP-NI is a Bluetooth®-compatible, nonincendive keyboard built for use in hazardous locations and is FM-approved for Class I, Division II, Groups A, B, C and D. This fully-sealed keyboard is designed to meet NEMA 4X specifications, meaning it is resistant to dirt, dust, water, ice and corrosives. Built with an industrial silicone rubber keypad and a rugged ABS polycarbonate case, the BT-87-TP-NI is submersible and easy to clean with disinfectants. The compact design, integrated touchpad and internal Bluetooth® module make the BT-87-TP-NI highly portable. It costs up to 35% less than wired intrinsically safe keyboards and does not require cables or barriers. The DW-5K-IS has a 30-foot RF range and works with systems in enclosures. It utilizes a USB dongle for plug and play ease, including automatic keyboard detection by the host computer. In addition, the DW-5K-IS comes with a manual binding feature that locks in the keyboard’s signal, providing keystroke security, the ability to operate multiple wireless keyboards within the same environment and a barrier from interference with other wireless devices. With its sealed, silicone rubber keypad and robust ABS polycarbonate case, the DW-5K-IS is designed to meet NEMA 4X specifications.
