A difficult requirement!<br \/>\nWith MPL&#8217;s fanless Embedded Computer Family based on the 9th Generation Intel processors and the SDI module, the requirements can be fulfilled.<br \/>\nDecades of experience (since 1985) in engineering and producing extremely robust embedded solutions made these MPL products possible.<\/p>\n<p>MPL presents a new fanless Embedded Computer Family based on the 9th generation Intel processors. Decades of experience (since 1985) in engineering and producing extremely robust embedded solutions made the PIP40 Family possible.<\/p>\n<p>With a new eDP2SDI module we developed, the PIP40 Family can now be equipped with a dual SDI output as well as a dual DVI output. The features of the new expansion are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>dual HD-SDI output,<\/li>\n<li>selectable HD1080p30 or SD720p60 (DIP Switch),<\/li>\n<li>two DVI Monitoring Output.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The internal SDI expansion offers two independent HD-SDI outputs on 75Ohm BNC connectors. Simultaneously, the picture is displayed via DVI-D.<\/p>\n<p>This SWaP optimised solution is perfect for any demanding applications where video conversion is needed. Regardless if in defense, telecommunication, infrastructure or mining, just to mention a few. The SDI\/DVI signal is supplied with content via the integrated graphics card \u201eIntel UHD Graphics 630\u201c Channel A &amp; B: DDI \u201eDigital Display Interface\u201d. Hence it will not occupy any of the internal expansion buses like m.2 and mPCIe.<\/p>\n<p>The PIP40 Family is equipped with features like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>up to 64GB registered ECC DDR4 memory,<\/li>\n<li>1 x m.2 Key-A (USB2.0, PCIe 2\u00d71, up to 3042 module size, WIFI, \u2026),<\/li>\n<li>1 x m.2 Key-B (USB3.0, up to 3042 module size, LTE, \u2026),<\/li>\n<li>1 x m.2 Key-M (SATA or PCIe 4\u00d71, up to 2280 module size),<\/li>\n<li>2 x mPCIe\/mSATA Mini Card socket with SATA 3.0 &amp; USB 2.0,<\/li>\n<li>2 x SATA 3.0 \/ 1x NVMe or SATA SSD,<\/li>\n<li>up to 7 LAN ports,<\/li>\n<li>4 x RS232 or RS422\/485 (optional),<\/li>\n<li>expansion capabilities for GPGPU on MXM, PCIe\u00a0(eg. RAID, high end graphics or XMC modules).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The PIP40 Family is available in the MPL standard housing with DIN-Rail or flange mounting. For defense or outdoor applications enclosures with IP67 are available. Mounting the unique solution in a 19&#8243; rack cabinet is possible too.<\/p>\n<p>If preferred, an Open Frame version (CPU board on cooling plate) is best suited for installation in existing cabinets and tight areas. For applications in a vibration environment, the solution can be supplied with lockable headers. Customized and semi-custom versions are MPL&#8217;s strength!<\/p>\n<p>All MPL products are designed for long-term availability and the PIP40 Family will be available for at least 10 years. MPL&#8217;s own component stock guarantees repairs for up to 20 years. Extended temperature ranges can be fulfilled and are tested in MPL&#8217;s own climatic chambers according customer&#8217;s request.<\/p>\n<p>The PIP40 Family is 100% engineered &amp; manufactured by MPL AG in Switzerland and meets or exceeds the most common standards.
