The VSX104 is RoHS compliant and conforms to the PC\/104 form factor, which allows users to easily add a wide range of low-cost I\/O options.<\/p>\n<p>The VSX104\u2019s 300 MHz DM&amp;P Vortex86SX System-on-Chip (SoC) is a high performance and fully static 32-bit x86 processor designed to work with embedded operating systems including Windows\u00ae CE, Linux, DOS, and most popular 32-bit RTOS. Standard features of the VSX104 include 128 MB soldered on DDR2 RAM, four COM ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and one 10\/100 Ethernet port. In addition to 2 MB onboard SPI flash (floppy emulation), it also includes both a Type I CompactFlash&#x2122; socket as well as a microSD socket. An onboard redundancy port allows for two VSX14 modules to be stacked together, and system expansion is supported by the PC\/104 interface.<\/p>\n<p>The VSX104 is a compact design measuring 3.55&#8243; x 3.775&#8243; x 0.9&#8243; and has an operating temperature of -40 \u00baC to +85 \u00baC.
