The Portwell PCOM-B701, a Type 7 COM Express basic (125mm x 95mm) module is designed with the Intel® Atom® processor C3000 product family (codenamed Denverton). Specifically, the COM Express 3.0 specification’s Type 7 pinout, when compared to the Type 6 pinout, trades all the graphics interfaces for up to four 10GbE ports and a total of 32 PCIe lanes, ideal for applications in micro server and alike, requiring low power consumption while supporting high computing performance and communication throughput. Portwell’s PCOM-B701 features four 10GbE KR, DDR4 ECC/non-ECC memory support, and Gen3 PCIe supporting high speed I/O card. In addition, Portwell’s PCOM-B701 Type 7 COM Express module also supports a wide -40°C~85°C industrial temperature range.
