PowerDebug X51 (New Product)

Changes compare to LA-3506:

1. New Features for the Power Supply:

  • Power-button for easy switching on and off
  • Power the device via USB-C
  • Option for 12V power-supplies

2. New Features for the Host Interface:

  • Ethernet with 2.5 Gbit/s (LA-3507 supports the following Ethernet speeds: 10 Mbit/s, 100 Mbit/s, 1 Gbit/s, 2.5 Gbit/s)
  • USB-C instead of USB-B . USB 3.2 Gen 1×1 with 5 Gbit/s

3. New Features for Target & Debug Control:

  • Target Control. USB port can operate as a master to read and control the serial terminal of your target located in a remote lab
  • Buttons and LEDs. Start-button to trigger PRACTICE scripts for e.g. programming or testing written in PRACTICE. Two user specific RGB-LEDs controllable by PRACTICE, to feedback the status of e.g. a test- or flashing-script, without the need to check you PC’s screen

4. New Features for Standalone Operation (This features won’t be available in April 2025, but should become available during 2025):

  • Using PowerDebug X51 as a standalone tool for flash-programming or in-field testing
  • Using PowerDebug X51 remotely with just your web-browser
  • PowerDebug X51 has an microSD card slot for autonomous operation

Description

Product number: LA-3507

PowerDebug X51 is the successor of PowerDebug X50 (LA-3506).

Universal debug controller of the Extended Connectivity Line (Gen 5)
with 1 Gbit Ethernet (via TCP/IPv4 and TCP/IPv6) and USB 3.2 Gen 1 for Windows/Linux/macOS.

Can be extended via an optional PowerTrace trace module and PowerIntergrator logic analyzer.

Requires a TRACE32 Debug Cable or CombiProbe.

PowerDebug X51 (LA-3507) will be available from April 1st 2025.

Orders for the PowerDebug X50 will continue to be accepted and delivered as long as devices are still available.

LA-3506 is expected to be taken out of production in June 2025.
