Knowledge Base, Technical News and Sophisticated Support Request Handling Improve Everyday Work of Embedded Developers

Lauterbach, the leading manufacturer of microprocessor development tools, has launched a new web-based technical help desk specifically designed to improve the daily work of embedded developers.

A new advanced ticket system serving customer support requests enables developers to view the current status of the ticket processing including full history at any time. Engineers can be automatically notified by e-mail that their requests have been answered.

In a further improved knowledge base providing a comprehensive FAQ area as well as video tutorials, solutions to the most common development questions for all microarchitectures supported by Lauterbach products are accessible. The Tips & Tricks news section contains numerous technical news of general interest. In both sections developers can be automatically notified by e-mail when new articles of interest to them are published.

A search function across Lauterbach’s entire support website gives engineers quick and targeted access to specific questions. Important technical documents and reference cards are available for download.

“In addition to first-class tools and first-class software, developers also need first-class support, which we have been committed to since the company was founded,” explains Khaled Jmal, head of Lauterbach’s global support center. “Our new support website will help to deliver even faster and better product support to our customers, to help making daily work of developers easier and more productive.”

Lauterbach’s new support website can be reached as of now at New Help Desk. Data from registered users will be processed in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation GDPR and will not be passed on to third parties.
